Below is a typical Unreal Designs project, showing the different phases, what you get at each stage, and indicative timescales and costs. At all stages in the project, you will be provided with up-to-date rendered images and the SketchUp model.
Pricing
We charge a day rate of £350.
As we are a small business, VAT is not applicable.
Before starting any work, we agree a fixed fee based on this day rate, so you know the cost upfront. The balance is due once you are happy with the completed work.
VR SHOWROOM DEMO & CONSULTATION
FREE | 2 HOURS
You’ll experience our VR showhome first-hand. This is the best way to understand how powerful full-scale, real-time VR is compared to drawings or static renders.
We’ll also discuss your project, how VR could help you make better decisions earlier, and give you an initial indication of scope, timescales, and cost.
EXPLORE
EXTENSIONS & RENOVATIONS | 2-3 DAYS
FULL HOMES | 3-5 DAYS
Our EXPLORE service is all about experimenting with different ideas. An initial 3D model is created from architect drawings or your ideas, enabling you to see how the spaces feel when you walk through them in Virtual Reality. We then iterate through several design and layout options on the fly, helping you make key design decisions. EXPLORE includes:
Project kick-off video call (1 hour)
We confirm drawings, layouts, and assumptions, and discuss initial thoughts on materials, styles, and furniture ideas to include from the start.
3D model review call (30 minutes)
A 3D model check before VR to ensure everything matches expectations.
In-person VR review (2–3 hours)
Walk through your design at full scale. We can adjust layouts, proportions, and key elements live to explore alternatives and answer “what if?” questions.
SketchUp model and rendered images provided. Additional detailed design iterations and VR reviews are charged at our standard daily rate.
REFINE
CHARGED AT OUR DAILY RATE
Our REFINE service brings the realism to the next level. Develop moodboards with style, colour and material preferences to make the Virtual Reality experience even more personalised, helping you ensure you love your home before you finalise your designs.
This requires clear design briefs for individual rooms or external areas. These can be created by you or your interior designer, but we’re happy to help if needed. REFINE service helps you explore:

By the end of this stage, the virtual model closely mirrors the finished home, allowing you to make informed decisions before anything is built.
